Ash management

DIAMO, state enterprise, branch HBZS, offers ash producers the possibility of continuous collection of ash with the provision of a comprehensive service, i. e. collection, transport and utilization in accordance with applicable legislation.

We ensure the use of ash in the following way:

• continuous collection of ash from the production of heating and power plant sources for use in the mines of OKD, a.s., or DIAMO, s. e.

We operate several facilities for the production of a certified product (base mix). The base mix is used for explosion-proof closure of mine shafts, filling of free spaces, prevention or repression of steaming up of coal.

• collection of ashes from the production of heating and power plant sources with use on the surface for remediation and reclamation of the area
• collection of ashes for the production of strenghtened backfill materials intended for the liquidation of main mining works

Cement ash mixtures with cubic compressive strength of 2 or 5 MPa after 28 days.

• fly ash binder for the production of hydraulic road binder 
• fly ash for aerated concrete - production of building materials
