Climbing works

The Main Mining Rescue Station Ostrava offers work at heights and above free depth. The work is carried out using industrial climbing techniques, or interventions at great depths using a mobile emergency gate with a range of up to 1,500 m.

In particular, we carry out:

  • surveys, inspections and revisions, cleaning and repairs of vertical and inclined mine workings and underground objects, revisions of pits, shafts, chimneys, underground reservoirs, silos, wells, gas tanks, dams and other high-rise objects with the possibility of photo or video documentation using advanced documentation technology (including the production of video or colour photographs, or in digital form on CD),
  • detection of heat leakage on high-rise buildings and facilities by thermal camera,
  • assembly and disassembly work, replacement of defective components,
  • cutting, shearing, burning and welding of various materials,
  • painting and coating of pipes, buildings and structures,
  • disruption by hydraulic bursting equipment,
  • various repairs,
  • rental of the DENKA 30L lifting platform.

The works are carried out at a high technical and qualitative level using modern safety equipment. We are able to carry out some of these works even in conditions of unbreathable or harmful to health environment, in deteriorated microclimatic conditions or in tight spaces. The work is carried out by periodically trained employees - industrial climbers - mining rescuers.
